The Grand Opening!

The bridge looked just lovely in the afternoon sunshine on opening day. People began to gather and then the ceremony started just after 2pm with a very nice speech by Lindley McPhail.

Bridge Grand Opening

It's the night before the grand opening of the bridge. It looks like the weather has decided to cooperate with the event. Everything starts at 2pm so be sure to get there in plenty of time to get a good spot.
